The goal of this challenge was to as the name implies crash a castle essentially , i had to program the robot to ram itself into a few structures and i believe it was supposed to be in a specific order
My solution was a very simple program that used the basic move forward and turn commands to crash the castle , essentially it was practice for moving the robot
It really helped me with the sequence of events my robot had to do specific actions in a specific order and it really helped me improve my skills with timing sequence as well as programing efficacy .
In This challenge i was supposed to use the robots onboard pen mechanic to draw a house , I was supposed to do this while putting heavy emphasis on using loops in my code
i did exactly as i was told and drew a house with the pen mechanic using loops
i learned how to use loops more effectively
Navigate a maze using only bumpers
it was simple yet tedious it was like a standard program however the command could only be triggered when a bumper detected a collision
i learned the basics of how to use bumpers that’s it really it
The goal of this challenge was to navigate to three specific numbers using only the robots onboard location sensor
my solution was to use the location sensor and the playgrounds coordinate system to navigate the robot to the specified numbers
i learned how to use the robots onboard position sensor
The goal here is to hit a series of points using only the robots onboard color sensor
it was simple really similar to the maze with the bumper sensors i programed it so it only did its commands when it detected the proper color wasn’t hard but it was very time consuming
i learned how to use the onboard color sensor
